My dream venue posted a Sunday wedding package deal last night and I'm really considering it to save money. As I'm thinking with Sunday being the last weekend day ,how late is to late with work in the AM ? We really want the reception to go until the early mornings . But we also don't want guest to...

We really want the reception to go until the early mornings . But we also don't want guest to leave early because they have work in the AM. If you previously had a Sunday wedding , how late did guest stay ?

We attended a Sunday wedding and everyone was gone by 8:30. The bride and groom were bummed

Ours is starting at 6pm and will end around 11pm, but I've been to Sunday evening weddings in the past and didn't notice any difference in how late people stayed. Especially if people are traveling for the wedding and will just be flying the next day, they don't mind. For a one off, a lot of people will probably be willing to be tired the next day for a special occasion the night before. Smiley smile

In my family tradition we don't have an end time for celebrations . I have been to plenty of weddings that end the next morning at 3 or 4 the next morning.

I would probably stay until around 8, maybe even earlier depending on how far the venue is from my house. (I do live in the middle of nowhere.) I go to bed between 9:30-10 on the weekdays.

I was in a Sunday wedding this weekend. The ceremony started at 3 and every single person besides FH, myself, bride and groom were gone by 8:30. I felt really sad for the bride because everyone left so early. It definitely wasn't a party feel with lots of people leaving right after dinner and barely anyone dancing. I think you need to know your crowd and if they will take off the next day and stay late or if they are going to leave early.

I would probably stay the latest 9:00 and that's it I live close by. I am having a Sunday brunch wedding on a holiday weekend. So people have the next day off anyways. My reception is from 11-4pm

We are having a Sunday wedding starting at 4pm an ends 10pm. That will get guest time to go home and be ready for work. We as bride just can't get carried away and be selfish, that day will come to an end no matter how much you drag it out. Please just remember your party will forever goes with your new spouse.
