As of right now we would be able to save A LOT more if we have a Sunday wedding rather than a Saturday wedding. We had it planned for 4 pm - 10 pm or maybe 3 pm - 10 pm. (not 100% sure which start time) Opinions on Sunday weddings? I haven't been to many weddings myself so i'm curious. We don't have...

Opinions on Sunday weddings? I haven't been to many weddings myself so i'm curious.

We don't have many guests that are traveling from out of state, and the venue is pretty close to everyone's home.

So my fiance and I thought maybe it would be worth saving the extra money and have it on a Sunday.

I’ve been to a number of Sunday weddings. 3 or 4pm Is a reasonable start time. If it ends at 10 and it’s not a holiday weekend, don’t be disappointed if some people have to leave a little early. Maybe have the end time 8 or 9pm?

I'm having a Sunday wedding, not necessarily due to price, but more so for the actual date (our anniversary- it was important to my FH that we got married on this day). We're having a destination wedding, so I can't speak too much on your specific situation since it's local, but I think it would be just fine! Our whole thing will probably be from 3-8 at the latest (just a ceremony & dinner reception).

We are having a sunday wedding. I definitely think its work saving costs! I've spoken with businesses and planners and they say the only difference is that people seem to keep their drinking under control on sundays. So there less chance for drama too!
