Sunday or Friday the 13th??

I would prefer a Friday wedding, and I'm not superstitious or anything so personally I would do the 13th.

As a fan of the Friday the 13th movies, I would pick that date!

I'd pick Friday the 13th! I usually end up running across more luck than anything else on those. :-)

If you go with Friday the 13th just be prepared for people to joke about it and make a comment whenever you tell them when it is. Or you can just say "it's January 13th" or whatever month it is and not mention it's a Friday to avoid comments. Mine is on April Fool's Day and everyone has a comment to make. It doesn't bother me, but I can see how it would bother some.

As someone who put "Friday the Thirteenth" on her invitations, I would say it does not look bad, and it was an amazing day. Thirteen is an awesome number, it's also my birthday so I guess I'm bias.

It's a b.s. superstition. Just get married on that Friday.

Also, the number 13 came up A LOT during planning. The room I tried my wedding dress on was room 13, my ring has 13 stones on it, our date totals to 13, one of our vendors was $1,313. We definitely looked at it like a lucky number and not bad luck.

Honestly I doubt I would even notice if I got your invitation..

I would do Friday the 13th. I think it would be much more fun than Sunday, especially for a destination wedding. Besides my mom's b-day was Friday the 13th.

Friday the 13th will not be looked at strange, and I am all about superstitions and ghosts stories.

IMO, I like Friday weddings over Sunday weddings (I am getting married on a Friday). It has more of a party end of the week feel to them.

I got married on Friday 13th...were divorced now but we never forgot our anniversarry!!! We still call each other each Friday the 13th lol

We originally wanted Friday the 13th in October, but FH's cousin announced their date before us, and they chose October 23rd. We didn't want two weddings that would be across country within 10 days of each other, so we moved ours up.

In short, I think Friday the 13th is a great date.
