We’re doing a Sunday, getting married next weekend! By having it a brunch and Sunday we not only saved money but it was easier finding vendors because they were more likely to be available. We live in a popular wedding city so there’s always competition for vendors. All our family is flying in so it they are using Saturday to do the tourist thing. The only thing that Sunday made difficult was booking a rehearsal dinner spot because naturally it’s a busy night for events. Definitely recommend Sunday!

We chose sunday! It's an early evening wedding because people do work. That's what we wanted. The saturday we tried to get was already taken and we would've need to change the date. Most of our guests able already planning and using it as a *vacation* verses a task since most are out of state.

YES! We are doing the Sunday before Memorial Day 5/24/20. Most people already have off that Monday so it worked out perfectly and saved us a BUNCH of money!

Yep! We are doing a Sunday wedding. It will be a sunset ceremony, so it will be a bit of a late night. This was just the best option for us.

We chose a sunday wedding! Fortunately we chose Veteran's day weekend so most people have monday off for traveling.

The venue pricing unfortunately didn't change. We paid a set amount no matter what day - but for our vendors it saved us money being sunday. Our DJ alone was almost half price which is huge.

Me personally, I chose it because I wanted to have a Sunday fun day kind of wedding. Early ceremony, then fun and games outdoor all day. I love the sunshine so it just sounded right to do a Sunday wedding. Plus, I hear you save money doing the “non traditional” days!

We are doing a Sunday wedding. Both families are out of town and would have to travel anyway. We are educators, so no work on Mondays in June. I love saying “we are getting married the first Sunday in June!” There’s a something catchy and chic about it! And we saved 4G’s!!!!!!

Yes, I chose a Sunday to save as well. Particularly the Sunday before MLK day so most ppl have the day off already. So seems logical to me. Plus I loved the date...1/19/20 ♥️

I'm doing a Sunday wedding, the venue I chose does 10% off on Sundays and due to work schedules weekends are the best for the majority of our guests

We're doing a Sunday! Our venue (all-inclusive) has a financial minimum of $27k for Saturday weddings, but no minimum for Sundays, so we went with Sunday just because we won't really have enough people to reach that minimum.

The venue we wanted wasn't available on Saturday and because we had lengthy discussions on when to have the wedding date, we settled for the following day, Sunday. We are having our wedding in Las Vegas so to us Sunday would suffice to have it.

    I am doing a Sunday evening wedding/reception!
I’ve been to a few before and the way I justified it is, if people want to come and support you and have fun, they will be there and will make time! And definitely nice to save the extra money! Smiley smile

We are getting married on a Sunday! I often see people on here say it may be a drag because people feel like they have to work the next day but we're not very worried about that. Most of our important family wont hesitate to take Monday off... if they even feel they have to! Plus if our friends want to drink heavily and party into the night then that's their choice, The wedding ends at 10pm which is plenty of time to go home and get in bed for work the next day. Almost all of our guests are instate as well so wont have to worry about traveling. Most of all our wedding is about US and Sunday is our favorite day!

Hi! We decided with Sunday, not due to the cost but the following Monday is Labor day and it gives us more time with our family and friends. Most Saturday's were already taken in September at the time of booking.
