Sunday Brides Help Me Out

My wedding is on a Sunday and I'm worried people won't attend or will leave early! Did any of your guests not attend due to conflict with church schedules??? Did guests leave early due to work the next day??? What time was your ceremony and reception???

Mine is a Sunday but we intentionally planned it that way. seating begins at 4:30, ceremony at 5pm. reception/dance/cocktail hour, whatever until 10. the following day we are spending it with people from out of town and then leaving for the honeymoon the following day!

My wedding isn’t until next November but it’s a Sunday wedding however it’s also a destination wedding so I don’t believe anyone would
    leave early.

I’m not worried about that —- our wedding is total — from 3pm - 9pm

My wedding was this past Sunday. Our ceremony was at 3:30. Reception 4:00-8:00. We had people start ducking out around 7:00.

I'm having that issue. I think most of it because my family lives out of state. regardless i chose the Sunday before a holiday that way no one had to take Friday or Monday off of work. i still got about 50% no's. my ceremony is at 3. cocktail hour/reception starts at 330.

I'm having a Sunday wedding! Honestly, it's a know your crowd. Our timeline is supposed to be 6pm-11pm but we are going to buy an extra hour to have it from 6pm-midnight. We both come from big party families and are having an open bar. Half are out of town but even the ones that live in the same city are already saying they are going to take the Monday off. I'm excited!

I attended my best friends wedding last year on a Sunday and I don’t think anyone left early and she had a pretty good turnout from those invited to those who came! Like everyone says “those who matter will be there!!”

That's about the timeline I was looking at too. Did your guests seem to get hungry again towards the end???
We'll have the normal reception food and a dessert bar.
