Sunburnt Lips

Andrea, on May 27, 2020 at 10:53 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 4
Help!! I made sure not to burn when out in the boat and only my lips managed to get sunburn. Our engagement photos are tomorrow and my lips are cracking and peeling. Any makeup tips for covering it up or any remedies that will make them look normal?

Try Aquaphor. It probably won't fix them 100% overnight, but should help them heal a little bit and look a little more like normal.

Exfoliate and moisturize as much as you can!!

My lips are always chapped due to an injury that caused nerve damage, and sleeping with Neosporin on my lips helps.

    Exfoliate and moisturize!

I have a brown sugar lip exfoliator by Elf that is awesome but you can just mix some sugar and coconut oil or any sort of lip balm you have and rub it on your lips to help remove the dead skin, then follow up with a ton of moisturizing balm. You can use a lip balm you already have or petroleum jelly, vaseline, aquaphor, or coconut oil in a pinch.
