Suit Question

Antonio, on January 3, 2022 at 12:24 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

I (Husband) am getting married in December to my Fiancé (Bride). We are doing mixed parties because it is 2021 and it doesn't matter anymore. I have a Female in my party, and she is a very muscular/fit person and wants to wear a suit instead of a dress.

Can anyone give any tips on where to find a female suit similar to the ones the rest of my party is wearing? Would the same place the guys will get their suits from work with her too?

ASOS has colored suits so you can maybe find a shade similar to the bridesmaid dresses.

This will depend on what she prefers in terms of the fit of her suit. If she wants a masculine fit, then she could absolutely get a suit wherever you are getting your groomsmens’ suits from. If she would prefer a suit that is made for the female figure, pretty much all major department stores carry beautiful women’s suits. Check places like Nordstrom, Macy’s, Lord and Taylor, Saks. These would be best for being able to try on before buying. You could also check out ASOS or BHLDN.

Hi Antonio!! I'd decide on the color / style of the suit for your side, then let her find a similar style in a cut that fits her well!!

In addition to the ones mentioned above, here are some great places with suits for women: Bindle & Keep, Duchess Clothier, Sharpe Suiting, Kipper Clothiers, and The Tailory.

I agree with the others that it depends on the fit of the suit she'd prefer, but loads of bespoke suit places do offer ladies' suits as well as men's, both pant and skirt options, so maybe buy your suits from a place that offers both and have them all made in the same fabric.
