Suggestions for battery powered speaker for beach wedding

Hillary, on April 9, 2017 at 4:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

My fiance and I are planning a beach wedding for 80-85 people in North Carolina this summer, and we just wanted to keep music simple by having a speaker and playing music from an ipod or something similar. Does anyone have any suggestions for a battery powered speaker with either bluetooth or an aux jack to plug in some kind of device that would be loud enough to cover an area for 80-85 people?

We bought a wireless speaker that attaches to our iPod or iPhone. It gets really really loud and holds a charge for 8 hours. That might be one of your best options.

We bought a JBL speaker around Christmas and use it regularly. I am no music expert, but I feel the sound quality is great. They even make waterproof ones. Smiley smile

Bose SoundLink is a great wireless speaker for outdoors. Some of my couples have used it for their ceremonies. Best wishes!

I have both Bose soundlink and JBL charge speakers. I think JBL is the best, plus the party one you can connect several speakers via bluetooth for more surround sound.
