Suggestions for a Nice bodied, inexpensive wines to place in our guests hotel welcome bags

I really like Bartenura Moscato. It's in a lovely blue bottle and it costs about $13/bottle. It's a sweeter wine.

I served it to a person that is a wine taster - and even he was impressed. He couldn't believe it. Ha! I don't really like wine either, but I will drink this.

I even worked with our venue to carry some specific wine from their reserve list for FH and I at the wedding.

Oh tell me what kind you had reserved?! I still have to pick one for my wedding. I'm afraid my palette isn't the most developed and I do prefer sweet vs dry.

View Quoted Comment Our house wines are a Malbec and NZ sauv blanc, for my FH and I, they will be pulling a Russian River (Copain) Pinot Noir for us (very smooth light-medium body which goes well with our food).


We upgraded the house wines for our guest (the catering already has good wine as it’s catered by the connecting upscale steak house), and found other areas to cut. Food and wine were our splurge, we aren’t doing programs, menus, favors, doing DIY flowers etc.
Everyone has their thing!

I cannot recommend Stella more... It's a lovely sweet red. It's considered Fantastic, by everyone I know!

It really is. Our wedding is in Boca Raton FlorIda and we have several guest coming from way down south and several out of state. Just a nice gesture for those wine drinkers and for the non drinkers we’re getting sparkling apple cider wine.
