Suggestion For Getting Rid of Tan Lines

Jessi, on November 8, 2017 at 12:44 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

Title pretty much says it all, I think. I have a bit of a farmer's tan situation, as well as some leftover tank top lines from a day with not enough sunscreen this summer.

I haven't decided if I'm going to get a spray tan or not (probably not) but any suggestions on products, etc. are appreciated.

Thanks!

Apple Cider Vinegar - apply to a cotton ball/cloth and wipe over area. Will help to reduce redness and pain.

I'd ask my MUA about it..they could try to hide it.

Otherwise, if it can't be covered up, then just ignore it. You're going to have your pretty dress on and thats all that matters..everyone will be looking that and your happy face. Photos can be photoshopped.

@kori I've done one once and it didn't turn out well. Not even sure why I'm contemplating it. So I will stop, it's just ridiculous.

@munchkin thanks, I'll try that if I get burned again. I just have the after effects of it.

@sarah I was thinking about makeup but feel like it would smear. I will ask her though, thanks. Did not even think about photoshop though, that is an excellent point.

Try one of the tanning lotions like Jergens and apply it in the "lighter" spots. I wouldn't start now though - just closer to the wedding. Used consistently for about 7-10 days or so it should help!

I also recommend using the Jergens gradual self-tanning lotion. It really works! Also, I've used lemon juice in the past for spray tans gone wrong, but not for "real" tans.
