suction cup bra

Monica, on October 9, 2017 at 8:06 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 9

Random, but would you rather do a suction cup bra or have cups sown in to dress? Most of you saw one of my dress post last week and I called the bridal salon manager and nicely asked the owner for some help with my situation and she is allowing me to come back in and re-order my dress without anything cut from it or trade for a different one, but I was showing my bridesmaid the dress and she said "have you tried it on without a bra" and I said "no just a nude bra I was wearing", but she said even if they sow cups in I won't like it because my boobs won't be lifted. I normally wear a bra, but it seems like push up cups sown in or dress tape should be able to help lift the boobs? I feel like a suction cup bra would be more annoying but I'm curious to hear ya'lls experience

this is my dress, so as you can see I can't wear a normal bra haha

I am planning one using one of those sticky bras. If you chest isn't too big, they will be fine and depending on the brand actually will lift your boobs. I thought the one I got was very comfortable.

Try on a suction cup or sticky bra and see whether it works for you. They work great for some people and drive others crazy.

Nope. No sticky bras. Doesn't work for me. The tiniest bit of sweat, and they come right off!

My dress had cups sewn in and it worked really well for me. As a 36D/DD the sticky cups wouldn't work for me (strapless bras won't even work for me). With the sewn in cups I felt supported, and like they were lifted.

I'm a C cup as well and sewn in cups were perfect. My dress has a lot of structure in the bodice (it's strapless) so I really didn't need any extra lift, the boning in the bodice holds the girls up.

I would try it on without a bra and if you don't think you need lift, just some shape, sewn in cups will work well. They do provide some lift since they are bra cups but not what you'd get from a pushup bra. I hope that helps!

I think I might do both. I was looking at those sticky bras that have the corset in the front to pull your boobs together a little bit. I don't think they really have any padding in them, so I will have cups sewn in too.

I'm only a 34B but I hate not having a lot of support in that area.

Thanks for all the opinions everyone! I like the sewn in cups mixed with tape idea

I've tried a few different sticky bras and they never seem to work for me, especially for lift. I had cups sewn into my wedding dress and they definitely lifted and held everything in and I'm a 34D.
