It's for a bachelorette party - we did this for my friends 17 years ago (I am old).

We made a tshirt with wrapped lifesavers and the guys came around and bought her a drink for a suck - or something to that effect.

It was totally fun! We also had each girl bring a pair of underwear (some saucy, some granny panties) and at each bar we went to would hand out the panties to random guys who would then come up and return them to the bride to be - it was pretty humorous!

Is it more for a bachelorette party? I hope so! Because that could get interesting on a night out with your best girlfriends! Not for a wedding! In your dress, asking your family that?! Just NO!!

I'm sure with the right crowd it would be a fun thing for a Bachelorette party, but it's certainly nothing I'd want to do.

Ok this is a midwest thing. It suprisingly is pretty big. I am from Nebraska and lots of brides do this when out. Basically a way to get drink money, and meet people in bars. It can be really fun with the right group. Typically, the bride wears a veil, that has life savers or some type of candy on it. Guys pay to bite the package candy off the veil. I have seen people make over $100.00. they never pay just 1.00 plus they usually buy a round of drinks. It takes a very open bride and very vocal MOH for this to work. I have also seen it done with the bouquet of flower/suckers. Its fun but cheesy. I dont think I will do this but I bet you my MOH will suggest it. We just country like that!!!
