Succulent

Has anyone used succulents in their bouquets or boutineers/corsages? How was the price compared to flowers? Did you have a lot of issues with them breaking with hugs and what not?

I am doing this! They are considered in the premium tier for flowers, but so were the dahlias I wanted, so either way I was getting a premium price. My florist had it set up as basic, mid, and premium for the tiers and then listed the types of flowers that would be in those tiers and different types of arrangements (bridal, bridesmaid, corsage, etc) and the prices per tier for those different arrangements. Can’t tell you about the breakage or anything since my day hasn’t happened yet, but I know they’ve done this for other weddings and it hasn’t been a problem.

I did this! I've said ever since I got engaged that I wanted succulents. Honestly, I never compared the price to regular flowers, because I refused to not have them. It seemed as though it would've been a similar price if I hadn't gotten them, though. Didn't have a single one break from hugs or anything, and both of our mothers wore their corsages on their dresses instead of their wrists.

Thank you!!! I was very impressed by our florist. Lol no, I don't think you're too forward. We spent more than I would've liked, but we were starting to get down to the wire and I didn't have time to shop around (I'm a horrible procrastinator). Plus I think we got our money's worth, lol. I think we spent about $2500 altogether, for 13 boutonnieres, 3 corsages, 5 bridesmaids' bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet, 10 centerpieces, flowers for the guestbook/cards and gifts table, flowers for the candy table, and loose flowers for our cake lady to decorate our cake with. And that included a $300 delivery and picking up the rented vases at the end of the night.

If you want to see anymore pictures let me know! I love sharing them, but they are so big I want to make sure you actually want to see them, lol.
