stressssssed

Molly, on May 29, 2020 at 11:02 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
Hi ladies, gents, whomever is out there.

I am feeling stressed. I started to workout consistently the last few years and since last august ive tried my dress on 3 times after purchase. I tried on my dress again today and i am pretty sure my back has grown from lifting because it feels tight around my chest and trust me i have no cleavage. I dont know what to do and am stressed and feel like i need to get a new dress.help.

You can definitely have it altered! Youd be amazed what someone skilled in that area can do

Depending on your dress - post a pic, we all love the spam! - you should be able to let out the dress a little. Mine has a sheer back, and when we added the cups the fit got pretty tight around my cleavage. But she was able to let out around the sheer zipper enough that it fit beautifully.

After! See how much better the back fits? A quick fix too - took her ten minutes while I waited.

My MOH just warned/reminded me of this the other day since I started weight training again. My dress only zips up above my butt and then has 27 buttons up the back.
I love lifting weights, but my goal with the workouts is to mostly tone. Depending on what your fitness goals are, I might suggest incorporating some yoga, Pilates, piyo or more cardio to avoid excess bulk.

You still have 517 days to go...I’d say tone down on the lifting and focus on yoga and cardio as suggested! I’ve been trying to lose weight as well, aka minimize my hips and waist and so far those methods have been helping. I’ve lost an inch on my hips already.

Maybe try getting your wedding dress altered, instead of buying a new dress altogether. If anything, you could have your actual wedding dress's back replaced with a corset back to allow for more and better lee-way.
