So I am getting married in June and I’m really worried about everything lining up. I have my venue, caterer, and decor but not anything else.. how do you do it?? I’m having trouble putting the pieces together I guess

I went through a couple blogs and Pinterest check lists for wedding planning and combined them all into one master list in my gmail google docs excel. I’m crazy detailed, so I have a tab for every vendor that I book with scans/screenshots of payments and the contracts just so everything is in one location and can’t be lost. Then I have a master budget tab that I keep track of who I paid and how much we still owe on everything. I also constantly update my google calendar with important reminders up to the day of the wedding. The month leading up to the wedding has a lot of deadlines and meetings so I don’t want to forget anything. This also helps me stay on top of everything since it’ll get more hectic as it gets closer to the big day. I could go on but don’t want to overwhelm you lol. Just focus and do one thing at a time! Hope this helps!

Hello and Congratulations Fellow JUNE 2020 BRIDE!! I can echo the Brides above, you need to make lists and look for inspiration/guidance on the internet. I also have a wedding planner (physical book) I am using with a calendar leading up to our date. I have written down all the important dates (payment schedules) in this book and also keep all meeting notes in it. Additionally, I have a few Excel workbooks set up for things like guest list, wedding party list (gifts, orders, etc), and a vendor workbook. It's a lot to set up at first, but once you have it started it makes a world of difference being able to see all the pieces. I would also get on top of booking your few remaining vendors as they do book up pretty quick our time of year. We booked our photographer and florist last spring for our June 27, 2020 wedding and I was already getting no's due to being booked already.

You need to keep lots of to do list and continue to write down everything you think of. Excel is a great tool to track everything that you need to do. I found this site very helpful in terms of the actions that I needed to take him when I needed to do them

Pinterest is definitely amazing to give inspiration and ideas! It works just as well to narrow things out too. If you have your decor, that's great! That can help you put other pieces together and figure out the direction you want to go in. If you haven't already found a DJ/band, photographer and bakery (if your caterer doesn't include a cake) I'd recommend finding those vendors very soon! Decide if you want fresh flowers and start looking for a florist for your bouquet and bridal party flowers. You can show them your venue and decor and they can go from there. Any vendors you are looking to hire can definitely help guide you! Your venue probably even has recommendations for any vendors you still need to hire.

Do you have your dress? That's a big thing to get done soon! Sometimes they take a few months to get in and you'll probably need alterations, Your dress design can help you determine how you want to style your hair and the makeup look you're going for too. Go with whatever feels right... what's your style? I personally am a loud person with a bold personality. I knew I wanted a bright red lip and no matter what I was going to wear a tiara, because I wanted to look and feel like a Queen. But that's just my taste! Seriously Pinterest is so helpful in trying to decide what to do.
