My wedding is 6 days away and my mom messages me today that she hates her dress and won't wear.it to the wedding. She found a dress on Amazon months ago that she loved, but she returned it because she didn't want to wear the same color as fmil because.at the time they were going to walk down the aisle together. Now things have changed and they aren't walking together. Problem is the dress is now unable and I'm searching the Internet to see if the dress is for sale in her size somewhere else. She is literally driving me insane. To top it off, she's mad at my fmil because she got her dress first and traditionally mother of the bride gets her dress first.

Oh goodness. that stuff seems so petty. Don't worry about it. That's one of the small stuff not to sweat. After all.. everyone is just going to anticipate and notice YOU and you'll look gorgeous

She doesn't really have anything else to wear. I knew when she picked out the dress she didn't like it, but she insisted on buying it. I tried stopping her from purchasing it, but she bought it anyways. I just can't believe this is happening 6 days before the wedding 😭

One of my bridesmaid didn't get her dress til literally three days before my wedding ahah and I guess weeks before my wedding I had adopted this whole mindset after reading so many BAM posts on here that hey things will work out and come together even if there are hiccups. Have faith that things will work out.

I found the dress she wants on Poshmark and it says it would take 1-3 business days to be delivered. Not sure if she plans on ordering it. I also found the dress in a different color on Amazon that says it would be delivered by Wednesday. I am hoping she will buy one of them.

She can find a dress in that time frame, maybe not her 'dream' dress but a dress that will work. I bought my MOH dress for my sisters wedding 2 DAYS before the wedding. Granted, I technically had a backup I hated but still.

You need to let them all figure this out. You can let them stress you right now. I would ask your sister to go with your mother and help her find a dress. Macy’s and Dillard’s have great options and she is not the star of the day so just get something nice.

I live three hours from them so I can't go shopping with them. Also, where they live doesn't have either of those stores. They live in a small town with very few stores.

Oh my goodness! I would be honest and just say something along the lines of "I'm sorry you feel this way, but it is too close to the wedding to change the dress. If you had told me sooner, we might have been able to do something about it but it is too late now. I appreciate you being honest with me, but I can not change your dress."

I found a dress on Poshmark for my sister. It is the same designer and color of the other dresses. It should be delivered to my sister by Thursday and our seamstress said she could have it done by Friday afternoon. As for my mom, we have been sending her different dresses on Amazon, but she hates everything.
