Stress Relief

Anyone else getting anxious on the wedding. I’m not quite at the point were I just throw my hands up and say let’s elope, BUT I am getting slight headaches crunching down numbers and juggling everything.


Any advice on stopping the madness for just 24-72 hours?

    It is always a really good idea to take breaks from it and have a nice date with your partner! We had a day we just got couples massages to relieve the tension and stresses from planning the wedding

    I like going to the gym that helps with my stress. Plus it makes me feel more energized.

    I can tell you right now even elopement planning can be stressful. It was very stressful to try to find a venue that was not going to charge an arm and a leg and still try to find photography and all that stuff. Like some people said just take a break and maybe focus on other things. But if you're very Taipei like me just keep searching until you find that gym. It took a while, it was frustrating to where I did want to cry but eventually I found a venue that was highly affordable and I found a photographer that I really wanted and luckily after reaching out to them they do have elopement pricing. If anything just spend some time with your fiance without discussing wedding stuff just to keep everything happy in your home.

    Last weekend we just went on a staycation in a town by the lake. We just got a cheap hotel, walked by the lake, and ate good food. The money could’ve been saved for the wedding, but we really needed to get away for just the weekend. It was fun and worth it, it wasn’t super expensive or anything, but just enough for us to relax and enjoy being together. Once it gets warmer out, we’re gonna go on hikes to relieve stress.

    We have the same wedding date! ☺️I think the stress is definitely building up as August gets closer. I just feel like I have SO many decisions to make right now.


    If you can just have a few hours to rest and do something for self-care, I think that would be great. For me, I love to clean up my house and organize while listening to music, and then lay in bed and watch a movie or read a book.Or if you’re more outgoing, have a night out with your fiancé!
