Strapless or straps/sleeves

Spaghetti straps

I vote strapless or spaghetti straps. I'm not a fan of strapless personally, but this dress looks beautiful on you! I agree with your grandmother that adding would take away from the dress, but it is ultimately your decision. Do what you're comfortable with

I think adding straps would probably be okay, but sleeves would look awkward.

Your dress is absolutely stunning! If you'd feel more comfortable with straps, then I think the spaghetti straps would work.

I would go strapless

I would leave it strapless. If you must have something, go with spaghetti straps.

It looks beautiful, but I'm also personally not a fan of strapless. Ultimately go with whatever makes you most comfortable; either way will be lovely on you.

I think that delicate illusion lace straps would look very nice on this dress. Maybe about an inch wide or so?

I like it strapless, and that also goes really well with your tattoo!

I think thin straps would look good, like a thin lace or tulle strap

I say leave it. No sleeves for a May wedding, though I guess depends on where you are. Personally I tend to not like strapless, but I like this one. I vote leave it

And this is coming from a girl that added sleeves to her strapless dress!

Perhaps something drape-y and just off the shoulder? I'm not a huge fan of spaghetti straps on dresses that are meant to be strapless, I feel like if it is going to have "sleeves" then it should add to it and not just be stuck on (which is how I feel most spaghetti straps look).

But outside of that, I think it looks great on you as is.

While I think it looks great as is, I was in the exact position a few months ago! I opted to have thin spaghetti straps put on my strapless sweetheart and I really liked the way it turned out, and it helped me feel more comfortable ALL day! I tried to put together some photos so you can check out my straps for reference!

Have someone from alterations show you your options. I chose a strapless gown and added spaghetti straps.

Personally I would go strapless but that's just me. If you do add anything I would go spaghetti straps. Definitely no sleeves though

I like it strapless. If you are having doubts though and havent purchased, maybe keep looking? If you keep thinking of this dress, you will have your answer and feel more decisive. Keep us updated!
