Strapless bras..

Ariel, on July 27, 2020 at 12:23 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
I’m looking for a good strapless bra to wear under my wedding dress! Or should I have a seamstress put an insert into my dress?? I’m not very big up top either, large B cup. Help!!

They are not weighty enough to need the tightness and boning of a bra, so inserts, which may have a pad in the bottom for uplift, or side bottom for cleavage, can be seen in or snaps sewn in to detach cups which will be washed in mild detergent, not cleaned like a dress. Even if the cups are fabric covered, do not leave sewn in cups in the dress for more than a few weeks, from dressmaker to wedding. Then unsnap or pull the threads. If stored together, the foam will dry out over time, and gasses will leave brown spots through the fabric of the bodice. They look great and are cheap and easy.

I'm a B cup and I had my seamstress sew cups into my dress. It worked out perfectly and it was so nice not having to worry with a bra!

If you can have them sewn in, I'd go that route. Finding a nice strapless bra is so hard and I find that most minimize instead of accentuate the way I want them to.

I’m getting cups sewn into my dress. I remember getting cups sewn in for my prom dress and I loved it so I knew I wanted to do that for my wedding dress. I’ve seen these nipple covers that also have a little tab at the top that you can use for an extra lift if you want that look. I might be getting those too. I have a deep v in my dress thats covered by mesh so I wouldnt be able to use those stick on bras that hook in the front. Hope that helps!

Try therabbitbra.com and you don't have to worry about the back being visible. Cups work for some women and don't do anything for others. Try them out before you decide.

Hey girl I'm an F and my dress is an illusion open back so i can't wear a bra. I plan on using boobie tape! I've used it before on other dresses and it holds my girls tight. You can place the tape to push them up and high or hold them down almost like a band like I do sometimes. My dress is below

I would recommend having them sewn in. I had them sewn in, it was cheap, and plenty comfortable. I hate strapless bras and didn't want to have to try to find one that would work with the dress.
