Strapless bra for particular problems

Lana, on October 20, 2020 at 8:56 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
Hello all!!

I can't seem to find a good strapless bra for.... well.... Sagging breasts. The ones I already own have huge, thick back bands on them (I'm a 40 D) and shinny, clear, removable straps that I can't stand (no matter how I adjust them, they are still visible and "dig in" so you still know they're there). Mine have the much needed underwire. I'm scared to try adhesive because I am also prone to sweating (peri-menopause is SO much fun) and worried that I sag/sweat so bad they'll just fall off or won't really hold them up but will try a brand if anyone in this particular predicament has used them and they've worked. Any suggestions for a bra that no one can see (no big back bands or straps) or tips and tricks that don't involve duct tape? Yes, I actually read an article on how to tape them up LOL!! I'm at a total loss.

Honeylove and Shapermint offer strapless bras that appear to be much higher quality and more supportive than the norm. And they have a trial period to test them. Also try therabbitbra.com

I've been considering trying kinesiology tape for myself. I feel like it could potentially work really well.

I tried this! (28E) The other 2 brands that were recommended too. I tried quite a few youtube tutorial. Even got help from my adult daughter. It won’t stick long! I don’t even sweat. At some point even annoying after a while. I went to restroom and dump it. I went home braless covered with my jacket. I honestly would not risk it. However, I think everyone is different. To me it was wasting my money since it’s not cheap.

My seamstress have large breasts too so she knows my concern, she made my dress tight enough under my breasts and the straps.

Did you consult this matter with your seamstress? They know all the tricks usually.

I wore a long-line (low backed) bustier and it worked pretty well for me (no idea of the brand) and I'm a 32DD.

Did you try to get waist cross over bands for the bra? That's what I did and it worked miraculously. I bought mine on Amazon and it had 2 and 3 prong bands.

I had cups sewn into my dress and it worked out great! You don't have to worry with a bra and you don't have to worry with anyone seeing it.

Strapless bras are tough for those of us with bigger size breasts, Ive honestly never been able to find one that actually provides support. Have you looked into Skims body tape? Theyre extremely well reviewed and likely more comfortable than a strapless bra

Sorry for such a late response, but thank you for all the help!!!! My oldest cat passed away and we've been devastated. I've just been taking a break from all kinds of social media platforms. There so much going on in the world as a whole and my little world has been thoroughly disrupted with the loss of our big boy and other things going on. Butt thank you all again!!! I appreciate it!!!!
