Strapless, backless bra for DD chest?

Katie, on May 12, 2017 at 10:39 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12

I have plenty of time to figure this out, but I need suggestions. My dress is an illusion neckline sweetheart dress, so I need a bra that doesn't have straps or a back (unless it's like clear adhesive). I want something to hold them but also give some lift so I actually fill the dress out. I'm up for tape or a bra, as long as it will work for 30DD. Nothing on Amazon seems too promising, and I really only plan to wear it once, so I'm not looking to spend $40 . Any suggestions or advice?

Following! I have a open back and I'm a 34DD. I'm skeptical about the sewn in cups having support.

Following. I saw a thread earlier this week about strapless bras, but it wasn't strapless and backless.

Try lane Bryant... Ashley Stewart...or adoreme.com one of them may have what you're looking for

I've only ever seen rather expensive things on Lane Bryant but I'll give it a shot. And when I checked out AdoreMe I couldn't look at anything without signing up or taking a quiz.

From what I have found from adoreme for us larger breast they don't have the support. For what you are looking for and the sport you will need for your size, you are looking to spend 40 or more. I spent 80 on mine.

You could look into getting cups put in your dress, see if they can make them push up cups.

I second seeing if your seamstress/alterations person can sew cups into your dress.

How low is the back? They make low back bustiers. I went with a salon in Bayside, NY upon a friends recommendation and while I didn't need a very low back, they carried it. Try some local lingerie stores rather than the chains. I found bustiers also provided better coverage than just cups.

I am a 40F (cacique) and I have sewn in cups and it's AMAZIng! If your seamstress knows what she's doing, it'll be fine and you'll be able to get the support you need with the cups.

I'm a 32DD and I have cups in my dress but wanted a bit more lift. The boutique where I bought my dress and am having alterations done at helped me order a stick on bra (no straps or back) and they work well. The top of my gown is very fitted and that helps too.
