Long time no see Wedding Wire!! I was talking about my wedding today to a co-worker who is planning a wedding, and it made me think of all of you! So i wanted to check in, tell y'all about Married life, and offer any advice i wish someone would have told me about the experience!
So... My hubs and I have been married for 6 and a half months now, and loving every second of it! Life is pretty normal, and similar to how it was before, a lot of people warn you that things change after you say i do.. we haven't felt any of that. However we talked a lot about it before, so its possible since our expectations were clear maybe that's why! LOTS of questions about when we will have babies... and as of now.. not anytime soon! lol Currently we just embarked on a new journey of building a house! So thats been a really exciting beginning for us, as we have been renters thus far! Lastly, its been so fun being Mrs. Freeman! I love using my new name, its (for me) so nice to have become one it that way!
Advice I would give to all of you who are currently planning: 1. I am so glad we didnt blow our budget! Though it seems like the most important thing in the world right now, I can tell you... 6 months down the road, all you have is your memories and your photos... dont go crazy! And...DO NOT SPEND MONEY YOU DONT HAVE!!
2. Do not kill yourself... and I said in my BAM, you spend so much time planning, and things will still happen that you cant plan for (cough cough a hurricane cough) and you just have to make the best with what you have.. so please dont kill youself trying to have the "perfect" day! It will be perfect because you get to married your sweatheart!!
3. enjoy all of it! because soon it will be over!
