Mine were two note cards long. I cried, but in that moment I was able to hold back my tears until I finished. Then DH started his and I blubbered.

DH and I wrote our vows and memorized then. I did cry through them but I wouldn't change a thing

I cried during ours in hospital. As a matter of fact I cried the entire time, all it took was seeing Dad laying there in the bed. I make all sorts of funny faces in the video trying not to cry. 9/13 or so people were crying, including the minister. LOL

Same here. Read through the ceremony script yest and was pretty much bawling. Im hoping the excitement of the day will level me out a bit!

I wondered if I was going to cry, but ended up laughing during the ceremony. The vows didn't make me tear up like I thought they might. I think I was too worried about remembering what to say, lol.

LOL I loved the title of this thread! Yeah we are not writing our own just because of that. Hell I'll be lucky if I make it down the isle with out bawling lol thank god for waterproof make up!!

Read them out loud so you know which lines will get to you. Practice a few times and you'll be less emotional. Its okay to cry as long as people can still understand you!

Also, bring a tissue. I had a snot situation going on due to the crying.

I can't even read mine right now without crying. I can not believe this is what I have become.

In fact, we changed our entire photography schedule around because I am a little girl.

We changed our photo shoot to before the ceremony just last month, b/c I realized I am going to look like Courtney Love by the time we kiss.

I plan on taking Staci's advice and practicing a lot before but FH writes so much better than me so I know I will lose it when he says his.

There's a reason for doing the first look. Both FH and I are going to lose our shit, we don't want to add fuel to the fire by having it be the first time we see each other that day lol.
