I've only heard really good things about this place. However, I've never been to one myself.

Thank you Nonna and Angel. I've been there many times for recreation etc. but never for a wedding. The tent looks so nice and I am considering it.

Lm, see if you can book an appointment with the coordinator. That will give you a feel for their service.

I lived in Shelby for a few years.

Never went to a wedding there but loved it for recreation. I would have concerns about being in a tent in Michigan in November though.

So many nice venues out that way. If you need help, put "Southeast Michigan" or "Metro Detroit" or similar in your title.

A lot of the reviews specifically mention Indian Springs Metropark, so it sounds like they have a lot of experience working with local parks!

Yeah I'm not sure I would be up for anything outside in November (tented or not). Not sure what your budget is but I've heard Villa Penna Banquet Hall off Hall Road is pretty nice. We also visited Andiamo in Warren and they have several really nice packages on their website. If you want a rustic barn or park feel I'd probably suggest looking at another date.

ETA: FH and I attended a wedding at Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester Hills last year. It was outside in a beautiful tent but again that was in May...

Thank you everyone.... November is a "place holder" really. We don't have a date set.... we're really thinking Fall but anytime in Fall. That's the latest I'm willing to do but ideally September/October. Thank you everyone. You are very helpful. I'm doing a lot of research right now.... I also really like Tina's Country House, Blossom Heath Inn, and Packard Proving Grounds so far. Though, there are many places I love too.... We'd love to have the ceremony outside and the reception inside.

Oh Blossom Heath, we knew the chef there. And pugsluv got married at Packard with Krank's for catering.
