Stomach bug

ColorMeBlu, on May 1, 2018 at 9:45 PM Posted in Planning 0 11
My wedding is this Friday and so far my MOH was throwing up yesterday and today my BM and a FG were getting sick. We all seen each other Sunday at the rehearsal and at first I thought maybe it was the food but no one else got sick. I’m hoping it’s just a 24 hour bug. I was hanging out with that BM and Fg all day yesterday I’m freaking out about it because I can’t imagine getting it on my wedding day. Sorry I just needed to rant. Oh and I leave for my honeymoon on Saturday! So I’m hoping we don’t get this bug if that’s what it is =[...

Wash your hands frequently and keep your hands away from your face. A huge percentage of viral infections enter our body from our hands, through our eyes, nose and mouth.

Make sure you drink lots of water and get as much rest as you can to help keep your immune system as healthy as you can. Fingers crossed you are all good to go come wedding time!

Oh Nooo! That’s horrifying! I heard today as well that there is a virus going around. At least my BM (sister) has had it since Monday morning too. Yes, wash your hands, take Airborne or something in that nature. Good luck with everything!!

I really hope your wedding party gets better and you don’t catch whatever they have!
The same thing happened to my family back in March where my cousins 2 year old gave everyone the stomach flu and it didn’t kick in for several days (we saw them the Sunday and I was VERY sick by the Thursday).

Good luck! Prep yourself with Gravol, Imodium, and Gatorade just in case

Have you ever used Manuka Honey? It is a highly effective form of honey to strengthen immune responses because of its antibacterial properties. I would encourage you to find a retailer like Whole Foods or a local health food store that carries Manuka Honey k-factor 15+, and take a couple spoonfuls each day as a prophylactic. Also offer it to your mother and those who are feeling ill to help them recover quickly. It is not the tastiest form of honey to eat, but it works magnificently! You can google for more information about its healing properties.

Wash your hands, take vitamin C, and drink lots of water!

There's a weird 24 hour bug going around my workplace right now. My BM had it and had to leave work early, but she was totally fine the next day!

    Good luck!

When my fiance or I am sick, we always wash our sheets in hot water, clean our bathroom with a bleach mixture, clean our fan, and vacuum. I feel like it really does help the other person not get sick. Then taking multivitamins and zinc. Then drinking lots of water, washing hands a lot, and eating healthy! Good luck!

You can also use Grapefruit seed extract. It is great for stomach bug prevention.
