I wouldn't force it, if you find one great, but if you don't you know that you've picked a dress you'll love to be in! If you're happy with what you have then why ovetthink! Of course if you're truly uncomfortable and want to get out of it, check out asos.

I chose my dress based on comfort and it checked all my other boxes as well. I paid enough for it (even though it was on the lower end) that I wanted to wear it all day and night and then some.

I was surprised about all the other events (welcome lunch, dinner with people around, honeymoon attire) that spring up on me!

Are you comfortable in the dress you have already purchased? That should be the only factor. It is hard to find a second dress that will fit properly in 2 weeks. Shoes are doable, but dresses are not. If I was in your spot I would let him know that you appreciate the sentiment but will stay in one dress (if that’s what you want). I can’t imagine spending so much money on a wedding dress to only wear it for an hour then change into something else.

Your FH sounds like mine. My FH is adamant about me changing into a more comfortable dress and comfortable shoes for the reception. I have told him multiple times I will be staying in my wedding dress since it cost my mom so much money and would only be wearing it this one time. Ultimately, it's your decision to make. If your wedding dress is comfortable enough for you then keep it on during the reception and express as much to him. It is cute how he's considering your comfort though.
