Sticky Bras?

Krystal, on July 27, 2019 at 9:08 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 24
Hey all! I have a sweetheart strapless gown & am thinking about an adhesive bra. Has anyone done/will be doing one for their wedding? What brand did you decide on? Comfort is a huge thing for me so the more comfortable the better! Can't wait for your input!

This is the back of my dress and I am going to need a backless adhesive bra so I’d love to see what others have used!

I used a backless ticku that I got trom target and I loved it. It lasted all night. I tried Victoria secret and it lasted for 2 hours. Try multiple before your wedding day and see what works for you.

I used them and they worked great. Got them from amazon.

This one keeps showing up in my Instagram feed, but the reviews are swaying me to not get it.

They worked well for me and they weren’t that expensive so order ahead of time and try them. You can use them more than once. Just save the clear film they attach to so you can put them back on

I’ve used one called my-bra, it’s adhesive, and clips in the front to give some cleavage. I’ve worn it out with outfits and it works well, I would just recommend trying it a few times first to make sure it’s comfortable and gives you enough support.

On a a side note I also have a strapless sweetheart gown and I’m having her sew in cups because I feel like that gives more support than the sticky bra.

Getting them sewn in, is that more comfortable than a sticky bra?

For mine at least yes, it’s a very fitted top (mermaid). She was able to have me place them at first to try them out during my fittings. I would say try a sticky bra and see how it feels for a day!

It’s also called nu-bra not my-bra... silly auto correct.

I got cups sewn on to my dress. It’s much more convenient and adds a great lift.

This is what I got! It says currently unavailable but I’m sure there are other brands with very similar bras. It worked great on the day of the wedding. The only issue is the second time I tried to wear it (to another event a few weeks after the wedding) it didn’t stick NEARLY as well...... I guess a one-time use is all you’re gonna get for a $10 product lol. But like i said it worked GREAT on the wedding day... I wore it for 5.5 hours, and was dancing and sweating a lot with no issues. Just don’t do more than try it on once before the wedding (like don’t wear it to another event beforehand or something lol)

I used to wear sticky bras all the time (the completely silicone ones) in the summer with certain shirts but had to stop due to irritation. I love wearing them and I could use them multiple times without loosing their stickiness, but I have sensitive skin and my breasts would get really itchy and almost rashy after wearing it for a few hours. Weird thing is I can wear just the nipple covers with no irritation. If you do decide to wear a sticky bra then I highly recommend you wear the ones that are completely silicone, not the ones that have the fabric material on the outside as they don't stick good or last long. Also, Wish has them for suuuuper cheap and good quality.

My dress had cups sewn into it. So no need for any sort of bra, sticky or otherwise? I've worn sticky bras for dance recital and for me they just dont provide the support, and I would always break out after. Can you dress have cups sewn in?

I tried a lot of sticky bras & NuBra is the best! It gives great cleavage / shape & stays on forever. I got the model with underwire & I really like it.
(disclaimer: my boobs are not too big & they stand up on their own pretty well lol, so I can’t speak about how it works for large sizes)

I’m doing one! I have a sweetheart dress with a very low back (almost backless) so a sticky bra was the only answer for the support & lift I wanted. I just got one off amazon!

I've used this one as well! It works well, but I noticed that if I get hot or sweaty it starts to itch due to the adhesive keeping the moisture in.

I highly recommend the brassy bra or perky pear. A different kind of stick on. Also they both do find on my sensitive/allergic to latex skin
