Pros We can set up and do our own vendors and do our own time line

Cabins? How many and to stay in? if so, I think 6K is a great deal. We were originally planning on doing our wedding at a B&B in Maine and the cost would've been $7500 for the entire B&B (8 sleeping rooms and private baths).

I still don't think that's terrible especially if you have it for the weekend. But only you know what you want your final budget to be. If it makes sense, go for it! Smiley smile It sounds like a beautiful backdrop.

The price really depends on the location and the time of year. If your wedding is during the on season, it's going to be more expensive. Whereas off season weddings are generally a lot people. Barn weddings are also extremely popular which also drives up the price. Given that your venue includes cabins that another thing that's going to drive up the price because a lot of places don't offer onsite accommodations.

It depends what your overall budget is for the wedding. If your whole budget is $10k it’s not a good deal. The general rule of thumb is venue/food/alcohol should be 50-60% of your total budget.

$6,000 for the entire weekend??? Friday through Sunday? And you get all of that. I think that's a great deal!

It sounds like it could be a great deal, but "deal" really need to be decided in context of your budget. Like Kelly said, if your budget is $10k, that's probably not a great idea. But it's all dependent on what else you want to have and how much those things will cost.

I think that's a good price. I live in Texas and most venues here are $8k minimum for a one day rental that only includes tables and chairs. I managed to find a venue for $5k that includes tables and chairs but I only have it from 8-11:30 on Saturday. I'd say you found a steal!

Will depend on other factors, such as location and overall budget, but it sounds like a great deal to me! We had to spend upwards of 2.5K on table and chair rentals alone, since our venue did not include these. And you'd get cabins too--for the whole weekend? Sounds like an amazing find

6k seems like a great price for an entire weekend. I would compare it to your entire budget, and see if you can still afford DJ/officiant/catering/dessert/flowers/photography/etc. with spending 6k on your venue.

That sounds nice for cabins included and a whole weekend. I have no frame of reference, I live in a high cost city and our venue is a large boat for 7k for 9 hours rental.
