Stepparents that came into life as adult

Brittany, on October 6, 2019 at 3:48 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5
My fiancé’s parents are divorced and both remarried. Both of the marriages happened once my fiancé was an adult. We are struggling with gift ideas for them. We don’t want to exclude them, but they also didn’t raise him so we don’t want to get something sentimental as it just wouldn’t fit for their relationship. Any ideas?!

My fiance and I both have this situation. We did joint gifts for the parents (because we have 7 between us) and plan on having a picture taken with our parent and respective stepparents for the frames we bought for them.

Maybe a gift card for a nice restaurant or date night that they can use together.

You could do monograms also on items so that it's not too personal but yet personalized

I agree with Caytlyn that a gift card should be good!

Give 🎁s that they can use as a couple, just like Christmas. Towels, a nice Picture frame, Wine, etc...
