Step-siblings in Family Photos?

I am trying to make a list of posed photos we want for the day. My step-siblings and I are not very close (parents married when we were all adults & out of the house). Should they be included? One of my step-sisters just got married and we were not included, but they were also very disappointed with their photos and photographer and were not organized at all beforehand. Would it be rude to have one set of photos with them and one without? Thanks for any advice you can provide!

I don't think its rude. I have no full siblings. They are all in my wedding and we are all close. But when we take family pictures I will have a picture with all my siblings, my siblings from my mom, and my siblings from my dad. I don't think its rude to do one with all of them and one without them.

I don't think that's rude at all, sounds like a good plan. It's nice of you to include them at all, I know people who hate their step siblings and wouldn't even invite them to their wedding.

I think you have it right one with and one without, that way you are covered and never look back and say I wish I got that photo.
