Step Father/Daughter Dance

Also, I've seen parents dance to You've Got a Friend in Me from Toy Story. Upbeat, meaningful, and so very sweet. You can do the classic slow dance moves to it or go with spins, twirls, fancy footwork. It's a great piece.

Looks like we're all in this boat together! Although my stepfather is definitely walking me down the aisle, I may dance with my mother. Either way the song will be "When you need me" by Bruce Springsteen. FH will dance with his mother at the same time

I was on the same situation and I finally decided on.. There you'll be by Faith Hill. Unfortunately my step father passed away a few months ago so now my son is walking me down the aisle and instead of a father/daughter dance I am going to play part of the song as we watch a short slideshow of pictures of him and I together thru the years

Same boat here! Except my step dad came into my life when I was 3. I think I finally decided on the song "As you dance by Reid Michaels" It's corny, but it was the song that fit best because I literally could not find anything else that sounded right for us. But this one works pretty well.
