Stella York dress

I bought my Stella York gown October 2019 and was told it would arrive in February....no word yet. This is a 12. I ordered a 14 for more hip/wiggle room based on their sizing chart and recommendations from my consultant. The 12 is a little big in the bust so I will likely need to take in the top. I weigh about 177 and wear a 36C (small C). I am a little over 5’7 and shouldn’t need to have it hemmed if I stick with a 2 1/2 to 3 inch heel.

I ordered mine June 13th, I was told expect to see it around December. Got the phone call Sept 23rd that it had arrived

I ordered mine mid-September and was told it would be in around March. It came in after Christmas before new year’s. My first fitting is towards end of February. I’ve lost 10 since I bought. They told me that there’s a healthy seam that can be let out if I don’t lose enough. I’m hoping a bit more and know I won’t be at goal. My wedding is in May.

Congrats on the weight loss! I also ordered in October and haven’t heard any word yet. My understanding is that they quote Stella 4-6 months with different turn around times based on season etc. they typically say allow about 3 months for alterations.

Congratulations 🎉 on your weight loss, I was told it would take 5-6 months for my dress to arrive but it came in 3.5 months, I know 2 other girls who had the same time frame, my seamstress said to allow 3 months for the alterations, I need sewn in padded cups, because I'm more than a A cup but less than a B cup, and it's way to big in the bust!
My dress is style 6979, if you care to look, love your opinion if you do!

You look so good ! Love your dress! I would give them a call to check in . I actually did that and it turned out they had gotten my dress earlier in the week and still hadn't called me 🙄 lol.

Hello there! I'm also a stella york bride, I ordered my dress in june of 2019 they said it would be in sometime in october and it arrived in September. I have my first fitting February 22nd to start alterations. When I first tried on the sample it fit me like a glove they did tell me keep in mind it will fit snuggled when it comes in since it's a brand new dress and to my surprise it actually fit me huge! But I did lose 10lbs from the time I ordered it for that reason. But they did tell me it's easier to take in versus having to let it out since my dress is all lace.

I ordered from a trunk show pre-sale so not all the dresses available were set to be widely available. They gave me a discount and told me there would be no rush option since it’s not a set design for the season. The estimate is 6 months so I should be expecting my dress in May. I also ordered a size up just in case. Hope this helps I also ordered a sparkly Stella York Veil to go with it that I believe was part of the preview show?

I purchased my dress January 4th and its due to arrive May 4th. Our wedding is August 14th, 2020 so that leaves me a few months for alterations. Hope this helps !

Update...the bridal salon called yesterday and my stress is in. I ordered it in October.

It took 4 months for my Stella York dress to come in I will pick up from alterations in another 2 months and may need another round of alterations. I am usually a 4 in dresses and ordered a 10 (wedding dresses are totally different than store sizes! - it’s just a number!) I don’t have a great pic but here it is
