It's what you add to the dress that will make the difference. Think of the finished look - hair, make up, jewelry, bouquet, shoes/sandals. These are the finishing touches. Stella York is a wonderful designer and I think you will be beautiful. You could always get a change out dress after dinner (something shimmering) for a more bolder look to dance in at the reception. Try it on. If you hate it, I'm sure you can return it. Double-check the website to be sure.

I did not try on this dress, however Stella's are STUNNING. This dress is beautiful and it will look amazing on you! If you're worried about the back being too high, you could always lower it since there are already straps. Like Will & Tiara said, the finishing touches will add to it!

It will be gorgeous! I went with a Stella York with almost no detailing and was glad because the few crystals that were on it sent reflections all over the husband's face. He said he was glad it was just an inch of trim because otherwise I would have looked like a disco ball...

I ordered a Stella York dress and my only caution with you ordering a dress without trying it on is if you ordered the right size. Her sizes are way smaller than normal bridal gown sizes. I wear a street 2-4 and had to order a size 12 based on my measurements. Make sure you ordered a size based on your measurements. And go larger than smaller.

I have a Stella too!! I love my dress so much. I'm sure you will too. I searched high and low for pics of "real brides" wearing my dress. I couldn't find any
