Steak with disposables?

Doing buffet (served). When selecting menu, i picked steak and didn't think about this in advance.... steak and disposable don't work!! Tacky!? What did you do or are planning to do?

If the caterer is serving the utensils, they should be able to provide disposables that work with steak. I've used some disposables before that were really nice. If you are responsible for providing them, here's some on Amazon I recently ordered that might work...

Do you mean disposable plates or silverware? Does the formality of the wedding matter? I’ve had steak with heavy duty plastic silverware and Chinet plates from Costco and they worked fine. Thin paper plates will get cut through and dollar store silverware breaks easily.

Most full service caterers provide china and real silverware for rent and they take care of cleaning.
