Stds, hand deliver vs mail

So, I live in a small town and im mailing STDs for my out of town guest (obviously) but im not sure with the virus if i should hand deliver the ones in my town like i originally planned or if i should mail them. Side note i dont have mailing address or phone numbers for everyone so i would have to message them on FB or something. Then if i deliver them myself do i write the names on them or leave em blank? Seems more personal to write the name . . Idk

You should just mail them. It will take 15 minutes to ask for addresses.

We hand delivered our STDs to the family that lived in our area; however, that was last summer. With social distancing guidelines, I'd send them in the mail. Ask your family/friends for their addresses via text or FB. "Hey ___________. Could I get your address for future wedding purposes? Thank you in advance!" That message generally got me the address same day, if not within minutes.

I’m in the same boat. Honestly I’m still holding out that I can hand deliver shortly. All I really have are my church family and most of them know I have it for them and they’ve seen the digital copy.

I would definitely fill out your envelopes. I had a lot of people to get addresses from too but I copied and pasted the same message ( and inlisted the help of my mom and MIL).

You are going to need everyone's addresses anyway so I would just put the 10 mins aside and go ahead and ask for it now. I personally wouldn't hand deliver anything now with all that is going on but I don't see the harm in it as long as you are just leaving on their doorstep or something.
