Starting May 3, no more dancing zones, but there will still be masking and distancing requirements on dance floors

From today’s press release: “Also on May 3, the guidance for dancing among attendees at catered events will be aligned with neighboring states, replacing fixed dance zones for each table with social distancing and masks.”

I just saw this in my venues newsletter. My wedding is June 4 and we actually took out dancing because of the dancing zones by households and now this press release happened and it’s like back to the drawing board. What are peoples thoughts on masked dancing? Are you doing it or not bothering with dancing at all? If you’re going to incorporate dancing how are you going to inform guests that masks must be worn? Have you had masked dancing at your wedding or been to one? How was the experience?

Our guest list is just 50 people and it’s mainly immediate family and a handful of friends, I’m trying to see if this is a “dancing” group. I don’t want it to be like those middle school dances where no one wants to get off the wall to dance first. Usually the smaller the crowd the more awkward dancing can feel. What are your thoughts? Maybe I’m just paranoid.
