Starting from scratch?

Sorry in advanced guys this is a long one!!

FH and I got engaged last summer and I had jumped right into planning mode. We locked down the venue, photographer, videographer and DOC! We got every vendor we wanted and things were going great! Fast forward a few months and a lot of unforeseen medical and other unexpected life expenses — we crunched numbers and realized that there is no way we can afford the wedding we began planning and I am heart broken to say the least. so we literally went back to the drawing board two weeks ago😕.

We toured a venue yesterday that we both fell in love with and it is significantly cheaper than our first one BUT they don’t have our date available, this is fine from the stand point that invitations/STDs haven’t gone out (we are still pretty far away from the date) but all of our vendors are booked for our original date and might not be available for the new one! We saw one new venue that had our date available (still works out to be just as expensive as our first one, so obviously not going with that one) and are seeing another this week that still has our date. If we don’t like the one this week, i’m pretty certain we’ll go with the one from yesterday that we love but that makes me nervous for our booked vendors and the deposits we already made.


HELP please, what would you guys do!?
