Stamps

Martha, on June 5, 2019 at 4:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 28
Am I the only one who used the American flag stamp? I bought them the last day before the prices went up. I am also handwriting the the addresses on the envelopes. Just wondering if I am the only one out there lol

LOL, I am using the heart stamp. Props to you on handwriting - I would go through like 3x as many envelopes because I would critique my handwriting so much LOL

We couldn't, we needed a $0.70 stamp for our envelopes so we bought these pretty flower ones. But for our RSVP cards we used the USA stamps. We had them professionally addressed. But for thank you cards I've been hand addressing & using the USA stamps!

I’m planning to hand write on mine too. I might use a stencil for names and just jot down the addresses. Envelopes end up in the garbage anyway. FH plans to hand deliver most of his invites as his family and friends live near and mine will go in the mail. I personally don’t care which stamps I use. I’m not a bridezilla.

We used floral stamps, but we did hand write all of the addresses.

I went to the post office a few days before the price went up and bought the wedding themed forever stamps, for invites(150), rsvps(150), thank yous(150), bridal shower(50), and bridal shower thank yous (50).

I'll be doing the same thing. 1) because America is the best to us so that's no.biggie and 2) my FMIL took forever getting addresses, so I have to hand write.

I got the love forever stamps before the price went up. I did handwrite all my envelopes (and I have terrible handwriting, but I didn't care).

Daughter chose some Forever stamps that had roses on them rather than flags. I hand wrote all the addresses because daughter says I have much better handwriting. I did print out a template I found online that I slipped into the envelopes -- it helped me keep my writing straight and well-centered, and allowed a little more space for the names than the address lines, so the names were a little larger. They looked pretty nice and I only re-did a couple. Her invitations were from Zazzle and we ordered matching return address labels, so all I had to do were the addresses.

We did the special made themed stamps through stamps.com! The theme has a save the date, rsvp, love, and thank you stamps. While many probably are not realizing the cohesiveness, I am big on small details and like everything to come full circle.

It only cost like $2 for the sheet and we also saved five cents per envelope since my fiancé has an account with them.

Also, we used clear address labels that we printed the addresses on at home for ours instead of handwriting. So much easier!

Girl you are not the only one! I used the American flag stamps. In 10 years no one will remember what kind of stamp you used!! Also, my mother in law to be made labels for the invites, but I actually had to hand write a lot of them because of address changes and what not. You are not alone!

I am using the flower love stamp and boutineer stamp. I printed all my address labels on label stickers on computer. Props to you for handwriting them. I did hand written for STD and was like nope not again for invitations, lol.

I did this for my save the dates. For my invites I cheated and used my cricut and used the remaining flag stamps for the rsvp envelopes switching to the floral stamps for my invites.

I did the flag forever stamps, but FMIL said go out TONIGHT stamps are going up in price, and I didn't realize she meant the next day so I had the higher price Smiley sad. We didn't hand address, I bought a roll of return addresses for like $10 on amazon and snagged a couple blank address label sheets from my mom to mail merge our guest addresses
