Stamps for save the date

There's absolutely no etiquette when it comes to what kind of stamps you use. No one will care.

I think it's personal preference. I used standard stamps for our save the dates and for our wedding invitations. Most guests will throw out the envelope within seconds of opening your save the date anyway and most of them won't even notice the stamp.

We just used the bouquet stamp for our STD's. They are the same price as regular stamps. If you want to use a custom stamp, I would save those for your invitations.

I just ran out to the post office and ended up choosing some cute colored hearts! They had several options that seemed more "love" themed but honestly, no one will notice if it's a bird or heart because they'll be too excited to open up their invitation

I just used the standard Forever stamp with the American flag on it! People won't really notice what stamps you use!

Stamps are stamps. No one will care what they look like.

I bought floral forever stamps from Amazon, I got 80 stamps for about $57 which I didn't think it was that bad considering stamps are expensive in the first place. I'm picky and still wanted our invitations/rsvp cards to look nice and have the stamps fit the theme. I did see that in 2020, USPS is coming out with new designs for stamps, so I might wait for those to come out since I liked their new floral design.

I used the bout one the above poster showed for all my stationary for STDs and invites but for thank you cards I am just using regular flag stamps because idc anymore lol.
