Staircase Floral Arrangement

Hi WW Fam! So I want to create a floral arrangement for the stairs I will be walking down. Something similar to the pic attached. I’ve done floral arrangements before- fresh and faux, but I’ve never done this before. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this? Do I use foam blocks and set it on each stair or what?! LOL. I really don’t know where to start. Thanks!

    If it were me, I'd start with Garland, then do an arrangement on each step, then finish with more garland on the outside.
    Foam block should be ok,because the weight of the garland should hold it

    Or you can wire the arragments to the garland.

    Then you can always fill in to make it fuller by just sticking stems in between.

    Or you could get floral cages for the outside of the rail attach with pipe cleaners, so you can make the longer pieces hang down. I'd attach it from the inside so you don't have to get on a ladder.

    Garland is a good idea to start! Doesn't seem like you need foam but it would seem sturdier if you had something foundational support it as a base
