Stag and Doe

I think $15 is a better number.....$20 is a bug psychological jump and I've never seen them over $15.

I think $15 sounds good.....people start to complain when it's 20.

I really hope you're selling drink tickets too, that's how you make all of your money!!!!!

Another idea you could do is drop the price to $10 and then have people pay for the option to do the 50/50 and sell like $2 for 3 tickets, $5 for X amount and then $10 for an arms length.....I've seen that work really well at stag and does I've been to. Are you Canadian? I put a post on here a while ago asking if people in the States had stag and does and everyone said no.

Hmmm never heard of this till I read the site that Jilam (Thanks by the way) posted. But I'm wondering why Americans don't do this!? sounds like fun. I want one lol.

We had one in June. It went really well. Our tickets were $20 per person or $30 a couple. We had lots of prizes donated and people bought tickets for the prizes.. like a raffle. It was tons of fun and lots of people came. AND we made money to help with the wedding (which is of course the points lol)

I'm still on the fence 15 or 20, If I can get someone to make some food, instead of getting it all catered then 15 would be fine.

Yes I am Canadian! Lots of people do Stag and Doe's now. It really helps with the wedding costs and/or Honeymoon.

I'm planning on asking my wedding party to get 1 or 2 donated prizes, and pitch in for 1 large prize. We'll pick up some smaller ones, like a bucket full of beer, tools, etc...for raffle prizes.

I say $20. With everything that is included they are getting a deal!

You could compromise and make it $17. And you shouldn't have too much trouble getting osme prizes donated. My friend has had a lot of luck with that so far.

Too funny that Americans don't do this. I thought everyone did!!! We didn't have one only because we're not exactly social butterflies and figured the risk of losing money was too high. But they are SO common! Especially where I grew up. Most of the time people looking for a party would just check the paper to see where the Stag & Does would be that weekend!

Try to have as many of your prizes have alcohol in them.....people go nuts for those!!
