St. Lucia or Jamaica?

I've never been to Jamaica, just had no desire. Love Barbados! But, I LOVE St. Lucia! I go yearly, sometimes twice a year. I was born there so, I'm clearly biased. My sister got married last June at Bay Gardens Resort & Spa. She used Awesome Caribbean Weddings to plan and they did a great job! 80 of us spent a week and it was amazing! It's located in the North, near Pigeon Point and near popular night life and restaurants. Highly recommend St. Lucia!

I've been to Jamaica twice. Once Negril, once Montego Bay. Negril had the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. I wouldn't recommend venturing off the resort yourself. You'll see the rich are very rich and the poor are extremely poor (literally shacks). The people are extremely nice and their culture is great. I'm personally looking at St Lucia for my own but that's purely because I want to go somewhere new. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either though :-)

We are going to Jamaica in May. I cannot say which is better but I am excited to be going to Jamaica. I think it depends on the activities you want to do. You can always visit one now and check the other one out later.
