Squinty eyed pictures

Laura, on August 8, 2019 at 8:28 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 10
We did our engagement pics over the weekend. While overall I’m happy with them, I noticed my eyes are squinting in many of them. Now it was full sunshine bright as could be out there, but still. Does anyone have suggestions for having my eyes all the way open for pictures I’ll be spending a fortune for?

I do the same thing. I have to make it a point to think about opening your eyes which turns down your smile so practice! Also tell your photographer about your concern so that he can remind you.

I already have a hard time smiling on command without looking like a scary clown, now I have to worry about this too? Ugh. Wedding pics are NOT going to look natural at this rate.

Try and do you wedding pictures where there is shade. Your photographer should be cognitive of where the best pictures can be taken. We all squint when it’s super sunny, so I don’t know how to avoid it without having that creepy eyes wide open look. Maybe trying avoiding the posed photos and take them more naturally as you’re moving and walking around. That would decrease you staring in one direction and your photographer could get you facing in the best direction.

You can do it where your eyes are closed and then when the photographer is ready, they can tell you to open your eyes and take the shot.

Girl I feel you. I suffer from dry eyes so my eyes are extremely sensitive to sunlight. Currently using eye drops religiously to hopefully help with dry eyes to turn around my sensitivity. Otherwise I dont know

There will be a certain amount of shade at the beach where we’re getting married but still plenty of sun. Hopefully the shade will be enough.

Maybe I need to be using eye drops too, since my eyes are ultra sensitive to light, too. (So of course I planned an outdoor wedding!)
