Spring Shades of Blue & Pink

P & J, on March 21, 2018 at 12:50 PM Posted in Planning 0 16
I allowed my FH to decide our color scheme and he decided some variation of pink & blue (our favorite colors) and gray. What would be a nice shade combo for this during the spring? Is Navy blue more of a fall color? Is teal and coral too beachy? I’ve seen a “slate” blue that was nice. I figure with the right shades of pink and blue I can do away with the gray. Who knew there would be so many colors! OMG !!

So many options! Here are a few combinations:

I think I like the Slate Blue with the light and dark Rose shades (2nd one). You really can't go wrong with any of these.

I love the first one! And yes I feel springy and clean when I look at it.

There's so many ways you can go with this. In addition to the beautiful color palates, other PPs posted, here are a few more. They type of wedding, season and venue/setting of your wedding might dictate one palate over another. I am partial to a darker blue and pale pink as that is what my husband wore.

Our wedding colors were what the first poster posted - dusty blue and rose. Our colors were a little more obviously pink though. I think that picture shows muted roses and peach roses. Ours were a light pink.We got married in summer but they are totally spring colors! The azazie BM dresses in dusty blues are gorgeous - although I don’t think they have matching ties yet. My bouquet had more pink in it. But it was truly beautiful, very light and spring/summery. We almost went with navy and maroon but we thought it was too “fall.” I think it could work for a spring wedding depending on venue!

Slate blue, grey, and rose look so romantic and springy!

    Navy, blush, and grey

    Coral, grey and navy

I feel like teal may be a little bright for springtime but it doesn't have to match the season, it has to match your vision.

Dusty blue and peach are what we're going with and the groomsmen are in grey. I'll be sure to post pictures in a couple of weeks after our wedding so you can see how it all goes together!

I agree, I do like the looks of the darker blue paired with the pink, the way that they paired it here doesn’t look too fall-ish after all. Thanks for sharing!

Please share! I ordered a dusty blue swatch so that I can’t see it physically and I’d love to see how you paired it with the peach!

Thanks everyone for your input. As of right now I’m leaning towards a dusty blue and blush. Ive ordered the sample fabrics so that I can see them together. I’m so excited!

I let my FH pick ours, he did a very light blush (for flowers and MOB and MOG dress) and a sky blue for all other attire! We are doOmg a rustic theme
