Spring 2022

I'm a July 2022 bride! Similar to you, my original date was in 2020, and we postponed to July 2022. I'm slightly nervous about COVID still being out of control by then, but at this point, we're not postponing again, and I don't anticipate any new restrictions. Hoping for the best for everyone!

I think Covid is here to stay and now it's a matter of adapting rather than postponing/cancelling--especially as new variants continually appear. Yes, weddings are super spreader events but there are precautions you can implement (Covid tests, vaccines, sanitizer, and masks if indoors) to ensure as much protection as possible. It's also, important to understand/accept people not wanting to attend and not to take it personally.

I'm May 2022 and also already postponed once, so I understand the stress. At this point, we are going ahead with our event no matter what unless our state bans large gatherings again.

We're on for August. No matter what we're going to get married then. Even if it's just us. We can always throw a Houseparty later. What's most important is that we get married.


I can only imagine what it's like to go through two postponements. It would be hard to not feel discouraged. Time to break out that dress and do a little dance.
