Hi everyone!
I’m having a moment. I am trying to not be selfish because I feel guilty being so nervous about next year when SO many people had to reschedule this year. I am on a wedding FB page and the brides there are all indifferent about 2021 weddings with COVID. How is everyone else feeling? Are you feeling okay?
I keep becoming nervous of something like this happening again. And something I have looked forward to for over a year being taken. Just want some input on 2021, how’s everyone feeling? Thanks in advance ❤️

The way I look at it is that it is completely outside of my control, and if I focus the next year worrying about it, it won't be a very enjoyable experience. We are VERY lucky in the sense that we know its a possibility, and can have a contingency plan in advance, unlike Spring 2020 couples who were completely blindsided and had everything quickly taken away from them. So, make sure you're planning both your dream scenario as well as your contingency scenario, and be mentally prepared for both. Other than that, the rest is outside of our control.

I feel good. Our plans might change though. We've lost contact with our current venue and have no idea if they will remain close or not. There's another venue I'm hoping we can book but we're waiting until the end of the month.

I know some venues in various states that are opening back up as normal within the next couple of months so that's a bit reassuring.

We are all hoping for the best I went ahead and booked my venue yesterday for August 2021 fingers crossed everything will play out just fine

We’re currently set for October 2020. But if we are forced to postpone, then it’s definitely getting rescheduled for Fall 2021. For peace of mind, I just couldn’t risk a second postponement. So later in 2021 would feel safer (in our specific situation).
