My future husband is Filipino and in their culture they have sponsors that help pay for the wedding or sponsor the wedding. For those of you that also have sponsors or have heard of this tradition do you get the sponsors gifts? This is all new to me. if yes what did you get them?

I'm not fillipino so I cannot say. I'm sure if you asked you FH what entails to this tradition he would be able to tell you what is the general rule of thumb to do for sponsors. If he doesn't know, I say it's better to gift something that is unexpected than to not gift something that was.

Go to your FH grandmother, she will be a wealth of knowledge about the culture and expectations. My FH is part hawiian, and there are traditions and expectations of how those are upheld. Grandma will help
