I am saving, the only ones that will probably keep them or me my mom and his mom, and it's our second wedding for both of us. So I just bought blank invitations from Hobby Lobby and we're going to FedEx to get them printed.

I'm a splurger when it comes to this. It's something that sets the tone of the wedding and I love good quality invitations. I invested in letterpress for my Save-the-Dates and beautiful vellum sleeves, wax seals, and ribbon for my formal invites. No regrets here.

I'm saving on invites. I can't tell you what any wedding invites looked like for the weddings I've been. I ordered mine of off mixbook.com and they are a nice cotton paper with navy writing. I'm handwriting addresses, so I don't have to use ink or hire a calligrapher. Invites are definitely an area where money can be saved in my opinion.

We got ours from Vistaprint with all of the enclosures in need. Return address labels and envelope seals and some more stuff for $350....including shipping. Now, we got those during one of their promotions for 50%off, but I cut my costs in half.

Saving-we knew that people were just going to throw them away. We got something we liked in the price range that worked for us and love them.

Kind of middle ground. Got them from Minted and loved then, they were gold foil and the suite cost about $600 for 95 invitations. I would have paid thousands at the local invitation shop.

We splurged. Wedding stationary was something that I was really excited about.

Saving on invites. We ordered from shutterfly when they had a 50% code and free shipping. We love our invites, they can out beautiful, we just didn't feel the need to spend a ton on them.

Saving. I created a Wix website that looks VERY elegant, gives the details and info and where people can RSVP. It's free and I save a lot of money. Since my wedding is at the end of the year, this option works for me personally because what do people do with paper - they lose it, it gets tossed aside, crumpled... Especially if you're on a budget, I think this is a modern way to do invites. The downside might be contacting your guests via phone or text to go over things but to me it's not that big of a deal for a 100 people wedding.

I really enjoyed picking out our wedding suite. I ordered probably 40 different samples from 5 different companies to compare quality/styles. I didn't want to cheap out since I planned on using my invites as the inspiration for the rest of our decor choices (and had a very specific style in mind), but I did not need super formal invitations. I think I found a nice middle ground suite that has gold foil detailing and a good heavy matte paper, and that is stylistically on trend while still being different & unique from a lot of what I was seeing. I've also splurged on a matching envelope liner and gold foil belly bands. I think the final price comes out to roughly $6/suite before discounts for 45 suites.

Saving: Thankfully, I have experience making invitations so this will be a DIY project. I'm looking so forward to it and it will barely cost me anything (besides postage) since I already have the materials. We are also doing a small wedding so I'll only need about 10-12 invites. Should be able to make them all in a weekend.

Saved on invitations because they will end up in the trash. Used a 50% discount from wedding paper divas.

I'm not there yet, but I plan on saving saving saving all the way. Definitely plan on buying from Shutterfly with their 50 % off code. I know the only people that will keep them other than us, are our moms.

Totally saving! My FH and I both know that except for a few people, everyone's pretty much just going to toss the invites in the bin later. We've been quoted about $80 - $120 for all of our StD's, invites, and RSVP postcards, depending on final choices. :3 We're pretty happy with that because that leaves more money to put toward important stuff!

I splurged all the way on invitations and my invitation suite. I even went crazy with customizing stamps on zazzle to coordinate with the RSVPs and invites. I love beautiful stationery so much, so this was an area where money didn't matter.

Save, Vistaprint does just as good of a job as the other sites, and sales are often. They get thrown out anyways...
