On a previous post someone mentioned anything below 65 they would consider too cold for an outdoor wedding. What temp to you is too cold? And would heaters help if it was too cold? I'm super paranoid because we have an outdoor wedding planned due to the venue we chose. We're in Arizona though and known for beautiful winters where we often have 70's and can almost get away with flip-flops all winter if you push it, but I'm paranoid it will end up a colder winter than normal. My venue doesn't really have a backup indoor location. Bad planning on my part but our church had canceled and I was super anxious to find another affordable venue.

I honestly don't get the concept of making yourself, your bridal party and your guests uncomfortable for the sake of scenery. Below about 60 or above 80 and no one is going to listen to one word. Take your photos outside, but be comfortable. Twenty minutes sitting in the sun or the wind feels like forever.

You obv know I live in AZ too, but I'm a huge sissy when it comes to being cold. So probably like in the 60's.

Our wedding will take place under a tent - if it is cold/rainy all day they will put the sides down on the tent and put a heater in there. I am getting married in October in Indiana - it might be 90 degrees or it could be snowing. I hope it is like 72-75 because when people are up and dancing that is a perfect temperature. We are getting married earlier in the day so if it gets cold and crappy we can end the night early.

65-85 is ideal. take into consideration windchill and humidity as well. The sun beating down you in 65 is a lot different than overcast and breezy 65. Dry heat is also more tolerable than say, tropical heat where you just sweat uncontrollably.
