Sparklers Send off

My bridesamid did it at her wedding! It was gorgeous. You have to get everyone together (her d.o.c did) and then have long lasting sparklers and a huge long lasting lighter sort of thing to light them all and get the pic then!

I think it’s gorgeous! Just be sure your venue allows it before you plan on it as many of them don’t allow flames

That's what we're doing! We are going to buy the 20" sparklers since they last for around 2 minutes.

We did. We bought the regular size sparklers because weddings I’ve been at with the long ones everyone had to awkwardly stand around after until they went out. We had no issues with the normal ones.

I'm doing a sparkler send off. I love the way they look in all the photos I've seen. I bought the 20 inch ones as well since they last longer. Congrats and good luck!

We will have 148 guest most likely, I thought it would be good to have plenty extra we do have some kids, as well as I have some ideas for my FH and I to take some pictures with just the two of us holding the sparklers and going around in a circle that makes the light around us, I found the pic on Pinterest I will try and upload it to show you

View Quoted Comment Yeah ours were the 20 inch ones which was the shortest the website had. I just have a few friends that have done the 36 inch ones and those were too long.

Ive had at least 3 friends do them and I think they’re great. I want to do it myself. The one thing I would caution is make sure whoever is in charge of getting people lined up knows not to space the two sides too close together. One of my friend’s had her dress singed because ash was dropped on it.

I want to do this as well, but haven't really looked into it yet. A friend of mine who just got married bought some but then her venue wouldn't allow them, so she said I could use them. I don't know what kind her's are, but did you get sparklers that were specifically for photos? Like "non-smoke" ones?? Or were these normal sparklers?

View Quoted Comment I bought them from superior celebrations online! I just looked at the website and it says they burn with less smoke? Honestly I just googled wedding sparklers and bought the first ones I saw haha. Not sure how big of a difference there is to normal ones.
